On January 1st 2024, I moved across the country from Nashville back to Reno to open my own private tattoo studio. After years of working in traditional tattoo shops, I craved something that reflected myself and what I desired within the tattoo industry.

As a neurodivergent woman, I understand how getting tattooed in a public space can sometimes feel overwhelming or overstimulating. Here I provide a fully private experience that is personal to you, where you can feel safe to explore your body decor dreams.  

The studio is stocked with complimentary snacks & beverages to get you through your appointment. There is a TV that is in your full control. Your tattoo set up is exclusively top of the line industry products: high quality needles that don’t over traumatize skin, witch hazel to provide relief, Bactine in case you need some extra help, Clean Skin Club bamboo towels for soft wipes, natural ointment to ease your skin, soft table cloths so you don’t stick to plastic, DermaShield for easy healing, and Washoe County approved bandaging for clients who’s skin doesn’t agree with adhesives.

I draw all of my designs using the fine art skills I’ve collected in my lifetime. All custom designs are 100% unique and created by myself with your aura in mind.

My preferred way to execute design work is to be given a few basic ideas to work off of. “Hi Zlata! I’d like a crow in flight position on my forearm. I’d like blackberries and a moon to be incorporated,” is the perfect type of message to bring by me to work off of. Reference images are welcome to convey positioning and placement.

When submitting a design, have your 1 subject matter (i.e crow) and you can also give me 2-3 “secondary” subject matters that can work with the piece. Please don’t get carried away, skin is not paper. We are limited in what we can acheive so my golden rule is 1 primary subject, 2-3 secondary subjects in order to create you something that will look beautiful for a lifetime.

I will not tattoo other tattoo artists’ work.

In June of 2025, I began NEXUS STUDIOS, taking over the previous business Unique Salon Suites. I have a mission to create one place for you to discover all of your personal beauty needs. From barbers, hair dressers, nail artists, waxers, PMU, brows/lashes, to other tattoo artists - please feel free to roam the halls and meet other artists within our walls. I have an amazing team of people in NEXUS who are all friendly and happy to take care of you for your other trade service needs.
